Abstract. The reliable orbit determination of newly discovered NEOs is impossible without precise follow-up astrometry in sufficient arc of observations. This paper describes the follow-up astrometry NEO programme at the Klet Observatory. Since 1994 we use 0.57-m reflector equipped with CCD camera for confirmations of newly discovered NEO candidates, early follow-up astrometry of NEOs in discovery opposition, recovery of NEOs in second opposition and also follow-up astrometry of poorly observed NEOs in further oppositions. In this field Klet Observatory belongs to the most productive sites in the world. This programme will be extended to fainter objects with new 1.02-m reflector -- start of operation is planned at the end of 1998.
